Warehouse Anywhere Acquires XPS Solutions to Create Integrated Business Storage Platform
DENVER — Warehouse Anywhere, a technology platform for commercial storage, announced on July 7, 2026, that it has acquired XPS Solutions, a provider of contact center and remote management services for the self-storage industry. The deal creates what the companies describe as the first end-to-end platform connecting multi-location business customers with storage operators nationwide, aiming to define a new category in business self-storage.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The combined entity will leverage nearly four decades of collective industry data to expand its technology and artificial intelligence-enabled services for both storage facility operators and the businesses that use them.
Founded in 2015, Denver-based Warehouse Anywhere operates a marketplace that connects businesses with on-demand storage space across the United States. The company targets enterprise-level clients in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, field services, and consumer packaged goods, which often require a national footprint of storage units to manage inventory, equipment, and marketing materials. Its platform is designed to centralize billing, standardize service levels, and simplify the management of numerous storage locations.
Texas-based XPS Solutions, founded in 2000, serves the other side of the market. It provides live-agent call center services, remote facility management, and tenant-support technology directly to self-storage operators. This includes handling inquiries, payments, and account questions, allowing facility owners to automate or outsource significant portions of their daily operations.
The strategic rationale behind the acquisition is to merge Warehouse Anywhere’s customer-facing marketplace with XPS Solutions’ operator-facing services. This vertical integration aims to create a single, seamless layer between large corporate clients and a fragmented landscape of individual storage facilities. According to company statements, the newly combined platform will serve business customers through a network of more than 17,000 storage locations across the country.
“This acquisition is about raising the bar for what business storage can look like,” said Laura Holmes, CEO of Warehouse Anywhere, in a statement. Holmes emphasized that XPS Solutions has established a high standard for customer service and operational support within the storage industry. “Bringing them into the Warehouse Anywhere family allows us to deliver that same standard of service at scale,” she added.
The deal significantly expands Warehouse Anywhere’s technological capabilities. XPS Solutions brings established integrations with more than 10 different facility management software platforms, a critical component for streamlining operations across a diverse network of storage partners. The combined company plans to use its extensive dataset—covering business storage demand, customer placement patterns, tenant interactions, and facility operations—to enhance its AI-driven services. These services are intended to assist customers with tasks like making payments, resolving account issues, and accessing facility information without human intervention.
John Traver, CEO of XPS Solutions, noted the unique position of the merged entity. “Warehouse Anywhere has built something genuinely rare in this industry: a platform that understands the value of the business customer,” Traver said. “Together, we’re building something the industry hasn’t seen before.”
For small and mid-sized companies with national or regional operations, managing distributed assets and inventory is a persistent logistical challenge. The traditional approach involves negotiating individual contracts with dozens of local storage providers, leading to inconsistent pricing, variable service quality, and a significant administrative burden from processing multiple invoices. The platform created by this acquisition seeks to solve this by offering a single point of contact, consolidated billing, and standardized services, effectively acting as an outsourced storage management department.
This acquisition highlights a critical, often overlooked component of national operations: distributed asset management. While this new platform is aimed at enterprise clients, the underlying challenges of managing a physical footprint are highly relevant to scaling small and mid-sized businesses. These companies often struggle to secure consistent service levels and pricing without the negotiating power of a Fortune 1000 firm. A consolidated platform can democratize access to a professionally managed, national storage network, which is a significant operational advantage.
In our experience, the decision to use such a service should be part of a larger strategic conversation about a company's physical logistics. Our view is that while such platforms simplify procurement, the real value is unlocked when they are integrated into a company's core operational workflows, from inventory management to final-mile delivery. For businesses looking to build a more resilient and efficient physical footprint, our expertise in supply chain optimization can be invaluable. We help clients evaluate these solutions not as standalone costs but as strategic investments in their operational infrastructure. Looking ahead, the industry will be watching how effectively Warehouse Anywhere integrates XPS Solutions' operational capabilities into its technology platform. The success of the combined entity could pressure competitors to pursue similar mergers or partnerships, potentially accelerating consolidation in the fragmented business storage market. The performance and adoption of its enhanced AI-enabled tenant support tools will also be a key indicator of the platform's long-term impact.
